Antiparasitic treatment for livestock.
DESCRIPTION:
Amectin Forte is an injectable antiparasitic indicated for the treatment and control of internal and external parasitosis in livestock. It controls gastrointestinal nematodes (including inhibited Ostertagia stages), lungworms, sucking lice, cutaneous myiasis, and common scabies in cattle. Its component, Buclizine, acts as a potent non-hormonal appetite and growth stimulant, contributing to the animal's overall health and optimal development.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
- Ivermectin: 1.20 g per 100 ml
- Buclizine HCl: 0.09 g per 100 ml
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Administer Amectin Forte subcutaneously, strictly following instructions and under veterinary prescription:
- Dosage: Apply 1 ml per 60 kg of body weight in cattle, sheep, and dogs; for pigs, the dose is 1 ml per 33 kg.
- Procedure: Inject into the subcutaneous region, preferably in the neck area or the interscapular region, ensuring aseptic conditions at the application site.
- Precautions: Ensure the animal is properly restrained for precise administration with minimal stress. The product is injectable, ready for use without dilution, and should be avoided in lactating species or within 28 days before parturition, in accordance with safety recommendations.
