An ingestion insecticide formulated as a granular bait for the control of leaf-cutting ants in the field.
DESCRIPTION:
Attakill is an ingestion insecticide designed for the control of leaf-cutting ants. Its granular bait formulation contains sulfluramid, with a concentration of 3 g per kg of commercial product. When ingested, the product interferes with the ants' metabolic process, affecting ATP production in the mitochondria and, thereby, slowly but surely causing the death of the colony, which prevents the bait from being rejected.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
- Sulfluramid: 3 g/kg
APPLICATION METHOD:
Administer Attakill following these technical instructions:
- Dosage: Manually apply 35 g/m² at the foraging points.
- Procedure: Distribute the granular bait at points where crescent-shaped chewed leaves are observed and where plant debris has accumulated at the base of the plant or near the ant nest entrance. Use the product directly from the container, avoiding direct manual contact, so that the ants transport the bait into the ant nest.
- Precautions: Do not ingest, drink, or smoke during the preparation and application of the product. Use personal protective equipment and follow the manufacturer's instructions to minimize risks to yourself, other animals, and the environment. Keep the product in its original packaging and avoid storing it in living areas.
