Reconstituent mineral injectable solution for the treatment of metabolic disorders in cattle, horses, and pigs.

DESCRIPTION:

Calcifort is a mineral supplement formulated with calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and dextrose, designed to correct metabolic deficiencies in production animals. Its application is recommended in cases of milk fever, downer cow syndrome, grass tetany, hypocalcemia, and ketosis, promoting the animal's recovery and physiological balance.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT:

Each mL contains:

• Magnesium Chloride: 83.5 mg
• Calcium Hypophosphite: 29 mg
• Calcium Gluconate: 151.5 mg
• Anhydrous Dextrose: 160 mg
• Excipients q.s.: 1 mL

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Administer Calcifort following these technical instructions:

• Dosage:
  • Cattle, horses, and pigs: 1 mL per kg of body weight in cases of milk fever.
  • Repeat treatment if necessary until the animal's complete recovery.
• Procedure:
  • Cattle and horses: Administer via slow intravenous injection.
  • Pigs: Administer via subcutaneous injection.
• Precautions:
  • Do not administer via rapid intravenous injection, as it may cause adverse reactions and cardiac arrest.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
  • Keep out of reach of children and domestic animals.
