CALCITROVIT
Mineral and metabolic solution for the treatment of hypocalcemia, hypomagnesemia, hypophosphatemia, tetany, and acetonemia in cattle.
DESCRIPTION:
Calcitrovit is formulated with mineral salts and diphenhydramine, which provides a corrective action in deficiency states and a protective effect in cases of shock due to mineral deficiency or other causes. It is indicated in cattle to restore metabolic balance and improve clinical condition in critical situations.
COMPOSITION (per 500 ml bottle):
- Calcium Gluconate: 15,000 mg
- Magnesium Hypophosphite: 5,000 mg
- Magnesium Chloride: 3,000 mg
- Potassium Chloride: 26,000 mg
- ATP (adenosine triphosphate): 1.52 g
- Sodium Chloride: 850 mg
- Glucose: 2,000 mg
- Diphenhydramine HCL: 50 mg
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Dosage:
- Cattle: 500 to 1000 ml depending on the clinical case and professional judgment.
Procedure:
- Administer slowly intravenously or intramuscularly as directed by the veterinarian.
