CEFASPUR:
Broad-spectrum antibiotic in injectable suspension for the treatment of bacterial diseases in animals.

DESCRIPTION:

Cefaspur is an injectable antibiotic formulated with ceftiofur hydrochloride, a third-generation cephalosporin that acts against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is indicated for the treatment of pasteurellosis, pleuropneumonia, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pododermatitis, and respiratory diseases in cattle, horses, pigs, and dogs. It is also an adjuvant in cases of mastitis and metritis.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT:

• Ceftiofur hydrochloride: 50 mg/ml

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Administer Cefaspur following these technical indications:

• Dosage:
  • Cattle: 1 - 2 ml per 50 kg of body weight
  • Horses: 2 - 4 ml per 50 kg of body weight
  • Pigs: 1 ml per 15 - 17 kg of body weight
  • Dogs: 0.2 ml per 5 kg of body weight
  • Repeat every 24 hours for 3 to 5 days.
• Procedure:
  • Administer by deep intramuscular injection, or subcutaneously in dogs.
• Precautions:
  • Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
  • Once opened, do not store for more than 15 days.
