CELOSTOP:
Synthetic progestogen in injectable solution for estrus suppression in female canines and felines.

DESCRIPTION:

Celostop is a veterinary contraceptive formulated with medroxyprogesterone acetate, a synthetic progestogen that suppresses estrus in female canines and felines that are in the anestrus stage. Its application prevents heat and pregnancy, providing safe and effective reproductive control. It is also used in the management of certain hormonal and dermatological conditions in pets.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT:

• Medroxyprogesterone acetate: 5 g/100 ml

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Administer Celostop following these technical instructions:

• Dosage:
  • Canines: 2 - 3 mg/kg of body weight
  • Felines: 0.2 - 0.3 ml per animal
  • Apply in the second half of anestrus.
• Procedure:
  • Apply subcutaneously.
  • Repeat treatment every 6 months to maintain the contraceptive effect.
• Precautions:
  • Do not administer to pregnant females.
  • Do not use in animals with uterine disorders or genital malformations.
  • Do not apply to females with prolonged estrus without a veterinary diagnosis.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
