Injectable hemoparasiticide formulated with diminazene diaceturate and oxytetracycline, indicated in cattle for the control of anaplasmosis, babesiosis, and trypanosomiasis.
DESCRIPTION:
Hemaplus is a combined-action injectable solution that integrates diminazene diaceturate, a potent hemoparasiticidal agent, along with oxytetracycline, a broad-spectrum antibiotic. This therapeutic association allows for effective control of hemoparasitic diseases such as anaplasmosis, babesiosis, and trypanosomiasis, which represent a serious health and economic problem in cattle production.
Diminazene diaceturate acts directly on hemoparasites, eliminating the causal agents, while oxytetracycline contributes to the control of secondary bacterial infections, reducing clinical complications and promoting the animal's integral recovery.
Hemaplus is especially useful in endemic areas, where these diseases affect the productivity and well-being of livestock. Its deep intramuscular application ensures rapid absorption and reliable results under veterinary supervision.
COMPOSITION (per ml):
- Diminazene diaceturate: 35 mg
- Oxytetracycline: 70 mg
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Dosage:
- Cattle: 1 ml per 10 kg of live weight
- May be repeated after 24 hours as clinically needed
- Deep intramuscular route
