HIERRO PLUS
An injectable anti-anemic solution formulated with iron dextran, vitamin B12, copper, and cobalt, indicated for the prevention and treatment of anemia in production animals.
DESCRIPTION:
Hierro Plus is a parenteral supplement designed to prevent and correct anemic states in young and adult animals. Its formulation combines:
- Iron (as iron dextran), essential for hemoglobin synthesis and blood oxygenation.
- Vitamin B12, indispensable for hematopoiesis and energy metabolism.
- Cobalt chloride, which stimulates red blood cell production and enhances the action of vitamin B12.
- Copper chloride, which promotes the absorption and utilization of iron in the body.
Thanks to this combination, Hierro Plus acts as a comprehensive anti-anemic, indicated for piglets, calves, sheep, goats, and adult cattle. Its application ensures stronger animals with better growth and greater resistance to diseases.
COMPOSITION (per vial):
- Iron (as iron dextran): 20 g
- Vitamin B12: 5 mg
- Cobalt chloride: 1 mg
- Copper chloride: 200 mg
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Dosage:
- Piglets (preventive): 1 ml at 3 – 4 days of age
- Calves, sheep, and goats: 2 ml
- Adult cattle: 3 ml every 3 – 7 days
- Intramuscular route
Procedure:
- Administer by deep intramuscular injection.
- Adjust dosage according to the animal's species and clinical condition.
PRECAUTIONS:
- For veterinary use only.
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Administer only under professional supervision.
