- Prepare the animal and the device as directed by a veterinarian.
- Disinfect the implantation site (neck or behind the ear).
- Introduce the implant subcutaneously using the Compudose implanter.
- The Compudose applicator places the implant under the skin of the ear, behind the cartilage.
- Verify correct placement and remove the device.
- Record the procedure for herd control.
