LESPORINA MET
Injectable antibiotic based on ceftiofur (as hydrochloride), indicated for the treatment of acute metritis, bovine respiratory disease, and interdigital necrobacillosis in cattle, as well as for the treatment and control of respiratory diseases in swine.

DESCRIPTION:
Lesporina Met is an injectable solution formulated with ceftiofur hydrochloride, a broad-spectrum, third-generation cephalosporin, highly effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Its bactericidal action is based on the inhibition of bacterial cell wall synthesis, ensuring rapid elimination of pathogens responsible for respiratory and reproductive infections in production animals.
In cattle, Lesporina Met is especially indicated for the treatment of acute postpartum metritis, bovine respiratory disease (BRD), and interdigital necrobacillosis (foot rot), pathologies that directly affect herd productivity and welfare. In swine, it is used for the treatment and control of bacterial respiratory diseases, improving the recovery rate and reducing associated economic losses.
Its formulation offers excellent bioavailability and rapid therapeutic action, allowing for reliable clinical results in short-duration treatments. COMPOSITION:

• Ceftiofur (as hydrochloride): 5 g

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Dosage:

• Cattle: 1 ml per 50 kg of body weight, for 3 – 5 days
• Swine: 1 ml per 16 kg of body weight, for 3 days
• Intramuscular route

Procedure:

• Administer by deep intramuscular injection.
• Adjust the duration of treatment according to clinical evolution and veterinary criteria.
