Antinecrotic, anti-infectious, and lipotropic injectable solution for the treatment of poisoning and liver diseases in animals.
DESCRIPTION:
Maxin is an adjuvant treatment, formulated with antitoxic liver factors, designed to combat endogenous and exogenous poisoning, as well as liver diseases in production and companion animals. Its action helps neutralize toxins, improve liver function, and accelerate recovery in cases of poisoning or liver damage.
This product is essential in the treatment of intestinal poisoning, uremia, gravidic eclampsia, toxi-infections, toxemias, and poisoning by various agents such as arsenical drugs, barbiturates, pesticides, and industrial chemicals. It is also effective in managing spider and scorpion bites, as well as in disinfecting the navel of newborn animals.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Each 100 mL contains:
- Antitoxic liver factors: 500 mg
- Excipients q.s.p.: 100 mL
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Dosage:
- Small animals (canines, felines, ovines, caprines): 2 - 5 mL intramuscularly.
- Large animals (bovines, equines, porcines): 20 - 50 mL intramuscularly or intravenously.
Procedure:
- Apply by deep intramuscular or intravenous route, depending on the severity of the case.
- In severe poisoning, repeat the dose as recommended by the veterinarian.
- Can be used pre and post-operatively to prevent vomiting and nausea caused by anesthesia.
Precautions:
- Do not administer to animals with advanced liver failure without veterinary supervision.
- Do not mix with other medications without prior professional consultation.
- Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
