Otic-ophthalmic solution with antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anesthetic action for the treatment of eye and ear conditions in pets.
DESCRIPTION:
Ojux V is an otic-ophthalmic eyedrop formulated with Gentamicin, Betamethasone, and Lidocaine, designed for the treatment of otitis externa, blepharitis, keratoconjunctivitis, and other ocular and auditory conditions in dogs and cats.
Its antibacterial action combats infections caused by Pseudomonas sp., Proteus sp., Escherichia coli, Klebsiella sp., Shigella sp., Staphylococcus sp., and Streptococcus sp. Additionally, its anti-inflammatory and anesthetic effect reduces pain, inflammation, and discomfort in affected tissues.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Each mL contains:
- Gentamicin sulfate: 3.0 mg
- Betamethasone sodium phosphate: 1.3 mg
- Lidocaine HCl: 5.0 mg
- Excipients q.s.p.: 1 mL
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Dosage:
- For eyes: Instill 1 or 2 drops into the affected eye, 2 to 3 times a day until symptoms disappear.
- For ears: Apply 4 to 5 drops into the affected ear, 2 or 3 times a day, after cleaning the ear canal.
Procedure:
- Wash and dry the area thoroughly before application.
- Apply the recommended amount and avoid contact of the dropper with affected tissues.
- Continue treatment until symptoms disappear or as directed by a veterinarian.
Precautions:
- Do not apply in cases of corneal ulcer without veterinary supervision.
- Avoid prolonged use to prevent increased intraocular pressure.
- Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light.
