Long-acting injectable antibiotic combined with a non-abortifacient anti-inflammatory, indicated for the comprehensive treatment of bacterial infections and inflammatory processes in production animals.
DESCRIPTION:
Oxitet 20 LA KT is an injectable solution that combines two highly effective active ingredients:
- Oxytetracycline base (20 g/100 ml), a broad-spectrum antibiotic belonging to the tetracycline group, effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria responsible for respiratory, digestive, mammary, and systemic infections.
- Ketoprofen (3 g/100 ml), a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory with analgesic and antipyretic action, which reduces inflammation and pain without abortifacient effects.
The synergy of both components makes Oxitet 20 LA KT a comprehensive treatment that combats bacterial infection and controls associated clinical symptoms, improving recovery and animal welfare. Its long-acting formulation allows for wider application intervals, reducing treatment frequency and facilitating field management.
COMPOSITION (per 100 ml):
- Oxytetracycline base: 20 g
- Ketoprofen: 3 g
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Dosage:
- 1 ml per 10 kg of live weight
- Deep intramuscular route
- If necessary, repeat application on the fourth day
Procedure:
- Administer by deep intramuscular route.
- Adjust dosage according to body weight and the animal's clinical condition.
