OXITRAX 100 - FARBIOPHARMA
Broad-spectrum antibiotic with prolonged action for the treatment of infectious diseases in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, and canines.
DESCRIPTION:
Oxitrax 100 is a long-acting injectable antibiotic, formulated with Oxytetracycline, indicated for the treatment of infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Its mechanism of action inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, combating anaplasmosis, mastitis, endometritis, keratoconjunctivitis, foot and joint infections, bacterial enteritis, and respiratory diseases.
This product is ideal for preventive use in shipping fever, post-surgical, and puerperal infections, ensuring rapid absorption and distribution in essential tissues.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Each 100 mL contains:
- Oxytetracycline: 10 g
- Vehicle q.s.p.: 100 mL
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Dosage:
- Cattle: 0.8 mL per 10 kg of body weight.
- Calves: 0.3 mL per 10 kg of body weight.
- Horses: 1 mL per 10 kg of body weight.
- Foals: 0.5 mL per 10 kg of body weight.
- Pigs: 0.8 mL per 10 kg of body weight.
- Piglets: 0.5 mL per 10 kg of body weight.
- Canines: 1 mL per 10 kg of body weight.
Procedure:
- Apply deep intramuscularly.
- Do not exceed 10 mL per injection site in cattle and 5 mL in pigs.
- In horses, administer with caution due to possible adverse reactions.
Precautions:
- Do not administer to pregnant females.
- Do not exceed 4 days of application.
- Do not use in puppies.
- Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light.
