Hormonal injectable solution for inducing labor and uterine recovery in animals.
DESCRIPTION:
Post Part is an injectable solution formulated with Oxytocin, designed to stimulate uterine contractions and facilitate labor in cases of uterine inertia.
Additionally, it acts on the mammary gland, promoting milk let-down in newly calved females. It is also an adjuvant in the treatment of retained placenta, metritis, and mastitis, ensuring optimal uterine recovery.
Post Part is ideal for the reproductive management of cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, and dogs, providing safety and efficacy in the processes of labor and lactation.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Each 1 mL contains:
- Oxytocin: 20 I.U.
- Excipients q.s.: 1 mL
METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Dosage:
- Cows and mares: 2.0 – 5.0 mL
- Sows up to 250 kg: 1.0 – 2.0 mL
- Sows over 250 kg: 3.0 mL
- Sheep, goats, and bitches: 0.25 – 1.0 mL
- Cats: 0.1 – 0.2 mL

Procedure:
- Apply subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously.
- Administer under veterinary supervision.
Precautions:
- Exclusive veterinary use: Sale by veterinary prescription only.
- Do not apply in cases of dystocia with an undilated cervix.
- Overdosing may cause uterine rupture or tetany.
- Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light.
