RIMADYL - ZOETIS
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for the relief of pain and inflammation in dogs.

DESCRIPTION:
Rimadyl is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated with Carprofen, designed for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and post-operative orthopedic and soft tissue surgery in dogs.

Its mechanism of action inhibits cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), reducing the production of prostaglandins responsible for inflammation and pain. In addition, its high palatability facilitates administration in dogs of all breeds.

Rimadyl is ideal for chronic and acute pain management, providing rapid recovery and improved mobility in dogs.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Each tablet contains:

• Carprofen: 25 mg or 100 mg

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

• Dosage:
  • Dogs: 4 mg of Carprofen per kg of body weight, daily.
  • Can be administered once a day or divided into 2 mg/kg twice a day.
• Procedure:
  • Administer orally, directly or mixed with food.
  • For post-operative pain control, administer 2 hours before surgery.

Precautions:

• For veterinary use only: Sold with a veterinary prescription.
• Do not administer to cats.
• Do not use in dogs with hypersensitivity to Carprofen.
• Avoid concomitant use with other NSAIDs or corticosteroids.
• Store in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children and pets.
