MOMBASA GRASS SEED
High-yield, excellent nutritional quality tropical forage for livestock feed.
DESCRIPTION:
Mombasa Grass Seed is a fast-growing tropical grass, ideal for establishing pastures in warm climates. Originally from Africa, this seed is known for its high nutritional value and its regrowth capacity, which makes it perfect for grazing, haymaking, cutting, and ensiling.
Its digestibility is over 65%, with a protein content between 12% and 14%, making it an ideal option for feeding cattle, sheep, goats, and horses.
In addition, its high forage production allows for obtaining between 70 and 90 tons of green forage per hectare per year, and between 20 and 28 tons of dry matter per hectare per year.
