SHOTAPEN L.A. - VIRBAC
Broad-spectrum injectable antibiotic for the treatment of bacterial infections in animals.

DESCRIPTION:
Shotapen L.A. is a long-acting antibiotic, formulated with Procaine Penicillin G, Benzathine Penicillin G, and Dihydrostreptomycin, designed for the treatment of bacterial infections in cattle, pigs, sheep, horses, dogs, and cats.

Its mechanism of action allows for rapid elimination of sensitive microorganisms, ensuring prolonged protection against infections. Furthermore, its long-acting effect allows therapeutic levels to be reached within a maximum of 4 hours, and maintained for a minimum of 72 hours.

Shotapen L.A. is ideal for animal health management, providing rapid recovery and prevention of re-infections.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Each 1 mL contains:

• Procaine Penicillin G: 10 g
• Benzathine Penicillin G: 10 g
• Dihydrostreptomycin (sulfate): 20.5 g

METHOD OF APPLICATION:

• Dosage:
  • 1 mL per 10-20 kg of body weight.
  • Repeat after 72 hours if necessary, under veterinary recommendation.
• Procedure:
  • Administer intramuscularly.
  • Shake product before use.

Precautions:

• For veterinary use only.
• Do not administer 10 days before slaughter of animals intended for human consumption.
• Do not consume milk from treated animals until 10 milkings after the last application.
• Do not administer to horses intended for human consumption.
• Store between 2 and 8°C, protected from direct sunlight.
