Antiflatulent for the treatment of meteorism and tympanism in cattle, horses, sheep, and goats.
DESCRIPTION:
Sorol is an antiflatulent formulated with Tween 80 (Polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate), designed for the treatment of meteorism and tympanism caused by the ingestion of fermentable feeds such as molasses, alfalfa, and wet clover.
Its mechanism of action allows for rapid gas elimination, reducing abdominal tension and pain in affected animals. It is also effective in equine colic, helping to expel accumulated gases in the digestive tract.
Sorol is ideal for livestock health management, providing rapid recovery and prevention of tympanism episodes.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT:
Each 100 mL contains:
- Tween 80 (Polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate): 333 mg
METHOD OF APPLICATION:

Dosage:
- Cattle and horses: 10 mL per 50 kg of live weight.
- Sheep and goats: 2 mL per 10 kg of live weight.

Procedure:
- Dissolve the recommended dose in three parts water.
- Administer orally or directly into the rumen via a gastric tube, trocar, or long needle.
- In horses, it is recommended to administer orally or with a nasoesophageal tube.
Precautions:
- For veterinary use only.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not administer to animals with severe intestinal obstruction.
- Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light.
