A broad-spectrum injectable antibiotic, formulated with sulfamethoxazole, trimethoprim, and tylosin, indicated for the treatment of respiratory, digestive, and genitourinary infections in production animals.
DESCRIPTION:
Sultrityl is a combined antibiotic that offers synergistic action thanks to its three active ingredients:
- Sulfamethoxazole (150 mg), effective against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
- Trimethoprim (30 mg), which enhances the action of sulfamethoxazole by inhibiting folic acid synthesis in microorganisms.
- Tylosin base (50 mg), a macrolide highly effective against bacteria responsible for respiratory and digestive infections.
This combination makes it a comprehensive treatment against respiratory system infections (pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, laryngitis, sinusitis, coryza), digestive system infections (mucoid enteritis, colibacillosis, dysentery), and genitourinary system infections (metritis, vaginitis). Sultrityl is a reliable tool for maintaining animal health and improving productivity.
COMPOSITION (per ml):
- Sulfamethoxazole: 150 mg
- Trimethoprim: 30 mg
- Tylosin base: 50 mg
METHOD OF APPLICATION:
Dosage:
- Cattle: 10 ml per 100 kg of live weight
- Calves, sheep, and pigs: 0.5 – 3 ml per 10 kg of live weight
- Intramuscular route
Procedure:
- Administer via deep intramuscular injection.
- Adjust the dose according to the species, weight, and clinical condition of the animal.
